Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using HiPop's SMS virtual assistant service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our service.

2. Service Description

HiPop provides an AI-powered SMS assistant designed to help older adults with technology questions and general inquiries. The service operates via text messaging and requires no app downloads.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under your account. You must have permission from the parent or guardian before signing them up for our service. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes.

4. Subscription & Billing

HiPop offers a 7-day free trial followed by a monthly subscription fee of $12. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel anytime through your account dashboard or by contacting us. Refunds are provided according to our refund policy.

5. Messaging Consent

By signing up for HiPop, you understand that a family member may initiate the process on your behalf. However, HiPop will only begin sending recurring messages after you explicitly opt in by replying YES to a welcome text. Texting HiPop is optional. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.

6. STOP/HELP Commands

You may cancel SMS communication at any time by replying STOP to any HiPop message. Upon sending STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. For additional assistance, reply HELP or contact us at support@hipop.ai.

7. Privacy & Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

HiPop provides information for general guidance only and should not be considered professional advice. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of our service. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

9. Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or updates with reasonable notice when possible.

10. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
